Dear fellow golfer,
With Christmas just around the corner we take the opportunity to look at some of the best golfing presents you could buy for your loved one – or put on your own list to Santa.
We also take a look ahead to 2010 and what you can be doing to ensure your game is up to scratch once the season begins.
There are also details on a special Christmas promotion where you can claim a brand new golf glove for half price when you purchase a dozen golf balls.
As always, if there is anything you would like to talk about, whether it’s your equipment, your game or just to pass the time of day, feel free to pop into the pro shop at any time.
Finally, may I take this opportunity to say thank you for your support during 2009 and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, I look forward to seeing you over the festive period and into 2010.
Enjoy the news!

Senior School
As most of you will know Richard was at the European Tour Senior School in Portugal last month.
By his own admission he wasn't playing his best golf of the year. However he managed to do enough to get through the first stage of qualifying, but missed out on the finals day play.
He must know rely on qualifying at some of the open events, something he has done with great success the past 2 years.

A quick mention must go to Ricky's caddie for the event, Mark Oliver who did a sterling job through out the event and was hospitalised for two days on his return home with food poisoning.

Hole in One!!
Congratulations to James Megson who scored his first hole in one on the 16th at Baildon.
James bagged his ace with a 9 iron whilst playing in the Sunday morning 4 ball.
"I nearly holed in on the 10th and my Dad was mocking me for not having one yet as he has had 2! Bizarely enough I stood over my 9 iron on 16 and thought I was going to hole it. Low and behold it left the bat and it never left it. Pitch mark was 18 inches short and there at the bottom of the cup my Pro v1 was winking at me!"
James can be seen here with his brother John performing as Megwood, the best Jedwood tribute band in the land!

There are a wide range of lessons available to suit your needs so call in anytime and we’ll be happy to talk you through what is best for your game. My prices are as follows;
